As Hurricane Matthew raked his way along Florida’s east coast in October 2016, many St. Johns County residents had evacuated, and were glued to the news for updates. But not Adam Morley, who took to his kayak to get a glimpse of something Floridian’s rarely see firsthand: a hurricane in action. Adam provides a rare description of Crescent Beach in the throes of a major storm event.
